ArmInfo. The Association of Small and Medium-Sized Exporters of the Russian Federation (ASME) is considering the creation of a structure in Armenia on the basis of the ASME, which would act as an integrator to stimulate the export of Armenian agricultural products to the Russian market. This was in an interview with ArmInfo on the margins of the business forum of the EAEU "Armenia-Cooperation", the executive director of the ASME, Yury Shurygin, said.
"We see very good opportunities for export of agricultural products from Armenia to Russia. But sometimes there are difficulties due to the fact that the volumes that the Armenian producer can offer are not always large enough. In the event that agricultural produce of Armenia is famous for its high quality and taste on the Russian market. Therefore, we will be happy to provide an opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses in Armenia, "he said.
In addition, according to Shurygin, there is an opportunity for the development of export activities of Armenian entrepreneurs in the field of pharmaceuticals. "There is a very good, well-known Armenian pharmaceutical product in the world," he said. In this context, the representative of the ASME called the company "Liqvor". He noted that the company exports its products to 15 countries, but is not represented in Russia, as there are problems that need to be solved at the level of state regulation. "I hope, within the framework of today's negotiations, we will be able to help resolve this issue" Shurygin stressed.
