ArmInfo.The Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, Artur Grigoryan, received the head of the Eastern Partnership regional programs department at the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement of the European Commission Vassilis Maragos on June 12.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Energy, welcoming the guests, the Minister expressed gratitude to the European Union for consistent assistance in the implementation of energy programs that are of strategic importance for the country. He confirmed the intentions of the Armenian authorities to implement all the agreements reached, also speaking for the implementation of new joint projects.
Vassilis Maragos expressed satisfaction with the joint work carried out with the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, noting that he will make every effort to achieve better results in Armenia. He stressed that the expansion of programs in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency is a priority for the European Commission, adding that the European Commission is ready to assist Armenia in various formats.
