ArmInfo. On June 15, Minister of Economic Development and Investments Artsvik Minasyan met with US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills.
According to the press service of the ministry, Minasyan noted the importance of cooperation and presented to the American side the process of cooperation. "Your assistance is extremely important for our ministry," the minister stressed.
Ambassador Mills noted that he is ready to work with the ministry within the framework of the Framework Agreement on Trade and Investment in order to expand trade and investment between our two countries. "This is number one priority in our bilateral relations," the ambassador said.
During the meeting, the parties also turned to the reforms implemented by the ministry, anti-corruption policy, investment environment and legislative changes. The ambassador expressed satisfaction with the planned reforms, noting that American investors are interested in Armenia.
The sides also exchanged views on energy, tourism, etc. At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation.
