Under the chairmanship of the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Grigoryan, on June 26 a meeting was held at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant to improve the safety level of the station. The press service of the RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources reported.
According to the source, the meeting also discussed the process of implementing the program for extending the lifetime of the second power unit of the ANPP and planned for the modernization project. During the discussions, the minister gave a number of instructions, in particular, to be consistent, so that the modernization and retrofitting work was carried out at the proper level and in a timely manner.
Then Artur Grigoryan visited the site of the station, where he got acquainted with the process of repair and modernization of the unit in the turbine shop, as well as with forthcoming works.
