ArmInfo. The Armenian government has the political will to solve problems in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during the governmental meeting devoted to the development of the sphere of SMEs.
According to the press service of the government, according to the prime minister, it is necessary to make an inventory of the problems in the sphere and outline the government's steps aimed at assisting SMEs. "The development of SMEs is an extremely important direction for the government of Armenia, including because it is more mobile and the positive changes resulting from the activity of the Cabinet will become tangible in a shorter time," he said, stressing that the work should be joint and coordinated.
In the course of the meeting, the parties touched upon the tasks of the sphere, the functionalities of government agencies in the provision of assistance to SMEs, and the available assistance instruments. In particular, the importance of implementing reforms in the country's Tax Code was stressed.
Pashinyan noted the political will of the government not only to discuss, but also to find ways to solve the problems of small and medium-sized businesses. In this context, he stressed the need to involve the representatives of the sphere in the discussions on the reform of tax legislation.
The head of the Armenian government instructed on the platform of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia to coordinate the Council for the Development of SMEs with the participation of representatives of the sphere. The work of the Council, which will conduct periodic discussions on the tasks of SMEs and submit their decisions to the Prime Minister, will be coordinated by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan

As the prime minister pointed out, a number of fair owners responded to the government's request and lowered the rent.
