ArmInfo."The history of the partnership between the Armenian Finance Ministry and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is good and the cooperation will soon develop in new directions," said Atom Janjughazyan, RA Minister of Finance, in a conversation with ADB Board member Syurkani Ishak Kasim.
According to the press service of the ministry, during the meeting the parties discussed a number of issues on the agenda of the current year, in particular, concerning budget assistance and ADB program loans, as well as current problems in the audit system, cooperation in the state-private sector format, and effective management of public finances. The representative of ADB expressed willingness to share the opinion of the Board of Directors and provide information on all possible changes in the Bank's policy. He noted that consultations and active communication contribute to the effectiveness of joint work. In this context S.I. Kasim stressed the importance of close cooperation with the Armenian office of ADB.
