VTB Bank (Armenia): "Card-to-card transfers" service is rapidly  gaining popularity

ArmInfo.Launched by VTB Bank  (Armenia) exactly one year ago, a new service "Card-to-card  transfers", through 157 ATMs of the bank for Visa cardholders,  demonstrated a progressive growth in customer demand. This was  reported by the Bank's press service.

As a result, Visa cardholders of VTB Bank (Armenia) can make online  transfers from their Visa cards to Visa cards issued not only by  Armenian banks (including VTB Bank (Armenia)) 24 hours a day, but  also by international banks the whole world. The service is available  for transfers in 4 currencies: drams, dollars, rubles and euros. For  remittances from the card to the card, there is a commission of  0.9-2%, which is automatically debited at the time of the  transaction. According to the source, transfers from the card to the  card can also be made through the new Cash-in ATMs of VTB Bank  (Armenia), which will enable Visa cardholders to instantly refill  their card in cash with up to 90 banknotes (not one by one, but a  bundle) of different denominations. Thanks to this, the process of  replenishing the card will become the most comfortable and will last  for seconds. In addition, with the new Cash-in ATMs of VTB Bank  (Armenia), customers were given the opportunity to instantly transfer  the amount replenished to the card all over the world.

"The service provided the opportunity for clients to make money  transfers to relatives and friends not to be limited to working hours  of the Bank and to save time for visiting branches," the Bank said.

According to the 16th issue of the analytical review "Armenian Banks  in Card Business" prepared by NA ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia) holds  the leading position in terms of the number of active cards, both  general and MasterCard and Visa, as well as the volume of plastic  transactions. So, on October 1, 2017, the Bank has almost 334  thousand cards, of which over 181 thousand are MasterCard and about  153 thousand are Visa.
