Indian Reliance Industries Limited is considering possibility of  implementing projects in Armenia

ArmInfo. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian met with an influential Indian businessman, a large industrialist and chairman of one of the largest Indian companies Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani.

As the RA leader's press service told ArmInfo, Ambani is also  Sarkissian's longtime acquaintance.

The meeting discussed the possibilities of investment cooperation  with Armenia. A well-known businessman said that Reliance Industries  Limited is interested in cooperation in the field of information  technologies and has a desire to discuss the possibilities of  carrying out scientific research and design works in Armenia.

Sarkisian attended the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in  Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, then watched the final match between  France and Croatia.

Reliance Industries Limited is an Indian company, the largest holding company in the country. The company's headquarters is located in Navi Mumbai, the satellite city of Mumbai. The company's core business is concentrated in the field  of oil and gas production, as well as refining (it owns a large oil  refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat) - these branches are operated by a  subsidiary company Reliance Petroleum. In addition, Reliance  Industries owns large petrochemical facilities, as well as a  significant retail network in the Indian market (for trade in  products, electronics, etc.).
