ArmInfo. In Armenia, there are  certain credit programs that are not being implemented, have not yet  started, and sometimes are only half completed because of default on  the part of one of the parties. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol  Pashinyan stated at a government meeting on July 19.

According to the Prime Minister, during the working meetings he found  out that Armenia continues to make payments on external credit  programs that have not been implemented. "That is, the loan agreement  was signed, its implementation did not start, but Armenia pays for  the obligations and even pays fines." The main reason is that the  signed bilateral or trilateral credit agreements have been foiled by  one of the parties, "Pashinyan said. He called such practice strange  and said that such cases are worthy of detailed study.

In this regard, Nikol Pashinyan instructed the ministers to identify  all such programs in relation to ministries and departments and  submit to the government staff their entire list.
