ArmInfo. There is a great investment interest in Armenia. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this on July 20 at a meeting with journalists.
According to the Prime Minister, despite the existence of specific investment projects, the current government, learned from the bitter experience of its predecessors, will refrain from mentioning the names of investors and the amount of investments expected. "It will be more correct if they are announced, after they become a reality," Pashinyan said.
Today, as the prime minister said, the government is working to create an appropriate platform for the investor. Equal conditions for all will be created, all necessary facilities and infrastructures will be formed. "There will not be the same practice applied to the former authorities - to enter into a share with the business, and each investment will be protected at the legislative level," he said.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed that there will not be privileged businessmen in the new Armenia. The purpose of the government policy to stimulate investment, he said, is to help an investor who will create jobs and pay more taxes to the budget
