Leadership among the large taxpayers of RA passed to Zangezur Copper  and Molybdenum Combine from a long time of dominant "Gazprom Armenia"

ArmInfo. Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine took first place in the list of large taxpayers of Armenia, paying 24.6 billion AMD to the state budget in the first  half of 2018, out of which 600.7 million AMD - on customs duties,  10.1 billion AMD - on direct taxes (in vol. including profit tax,  income tax), 14.6 billion AMD - on indirect taxes (including VAT,  excise tax).

According to the published data of the RA State Revenue Committee,  the top five leaders paid a total of 71.9 billion AMD to the budget  on taxes (with an annual growth of 25.2%), of which 23.4 billion - in  direct taxes (including profit tax , tax on income) and 55.7 billion  - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

For the first time since 2012, "Gazprom Armenia" (the former  "ArmRosgazprom") has gone down from the first to the second position  in the list of large taxpayers. The third place was occupied by the  Armenian- Canadian joint venture Grand Tobacco before the second year  earlier, followed by OOO Geopromining Gold, which occupied the sixth  position a year earlier. The five leaders are closed by the Cee PS  Oil Corporation, which occupied the 7th position a year earlier.  Philip Morris Armenia (6th position, against the 10th year earlier),  followed by Alex Holding in the top ten (8th position against the 4th  year earlier), JCT Armenia position, against the 16th year earlier)  and "International Masis Tabak" (10th position, against the 9th year  earlier).

"Gazprom Armenia" paid 20.7 billion AMD to the state budget in the  first half of 2018, out of which 114.6 million AMD - on customs  duties, 3.4 billion AMD - on direct taxes (including profit tax,  income tax) , 17.4 billion AMD - on indirect taxes (including VAT,  excise tax).

Tax payments to the Armenian-Canadian JV "Grand Tobacco" to the  budget amounted to 16.7 billion AMD, of which 5.5 billion AMD - on  direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), 11.2 billion drams -  on indirect Taxes (including VAT, excise tax). Payments on customs  duties amounted to 2.2 billion AMD.

The payments of GeoPromining Gold to the budget amounted to 8.8  billion AMD, of which 706 million AMD - on customs duties, 4.4  billion AMD - on direct taxes, 4.4 billion AMD - on indirect taxes.

Tax payments of the company "CIP-AS Oil Corporation" amounted to 8.2  billion AMD, including. on direct taxes - 91.1 million AMD and  indirect - 8.1 billion AMD. Payments on the customs duty of the  composition or - 638.6 million AMD.

To note, in the first half of 2017, TOP-5 included JSC Gazprom  Armenia (holding the championship since 2012), JV Grand Tobacco,  Electric Networks of Armenia, Alex Holding, and Zangezour Molybdenum  Combine, which in total listed to the budget in the line of taxes  71.9 billion drams, of which 22.5 billion - on direct taxes  (including profit tax, income tax) and 42.3 billion - on indirect  taxes (including VAT, excise tax). (The calculated exchange rate of  AMD as of 30.06.2018 was 482.24 dr / $ 1).
