ArmInfo. Economic growth for the first half is satisfactory. This opinion was expressed by the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Artsvik Minasyan at the meeting of the government on August 9.
According to the Minister, the tourism sector alone recorded 12% growth for the first 6 months. Armenian ecotourism, ethnotourism and gastro tourism are becoming more and more interesting for tourists. At the same time, it is expected that the indicators will improve in the autumn. "There is an increasing interest of citizens of other countries to visit Armenia," the Minister concluded.
