ArmInfo. On August 10, based on the decision of the Board of Directors of Ardshinbank, Artak Kliment Ananyan was appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board of Ardshinbank, the press service of the bank informs.
Artak Ananyan has been working in financial-banking system since 1998. During his twenty years of experience, he worked at the Central Bank of Armenia and held senior positions at "Hayagrobank" OJSC and "Ardshinbank" CJSC. 2015-2017 acted as the CEO of "Areximbank-Gazprombank Group" CJSC, and in 2017 rejoined Ardshinbank as the Deputy Chairman of "Ardshinbank" CJSC. Artak Ananyan will continue to fulfill the duties of Interim Chairman of the Bank's Management Board until the day of registration to the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia. He is an economist-financier, a candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. Married, has two children.
It should be noted that starting from May 12, 2018 the former Chairman of the Board of Ardshinbank Mher Grigoryan was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. From that moment on, Artak Ananyan was acting Chairman of the Board of Ardshinbank.
To recall, Ardshinbank was founded in 2003. The majority shareholders of Ardshinbank as of January 1, 2018 are Arins Group LLC (renamed Business Investment Center LLC) with a 67.97% interest in the capital and the REGION Industrial and Financial Corporation CJSC-29.52%. Ardshinbank retains the second position in coverage of the branch network - 64 branches, of which 19 are located in Yerevan, 42 - in the regions (the 2nd position), and 3 - in the NKR.
