Eurasian Development Bank wishes to expand its activities in Armenia

Eurasian Development Bank wishes to expand its activities in Armenia and is ready to discuss the opportunities for implementing new projects, Chairman of the  Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Andrey Belyaninov  stated at the meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan  on August 15. 

As the official website of the Prime Minister of Armenia informs,  Pashinyan stressed the importance of making further steps aimed at  the future development of the partnership. "The Government is  interested in the implementation of joint investment projects and  raising efficiency of bilateral cooperation", he noted.  The  interlocutors also discussed a range of other issues related to  bilateral cooperation. 

To recall, the Eurasian Development Bank (the "EDB") is an  international financial institution established by Russia and  Kazakhstan in January 2006 to promote economic growth in its member  states, extend trade and economic ties among them, and support  integration in Eurasia through investment. The Bank's charter capital  totals US $7 billion. The Member States of the Bank are the Republic  of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the  Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of  Tajikistan.
