ArmInfo. On September 14, an enterprise for the production of anti-hail nets was commissioned in the Lori region of Armenia. Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia Artak Kamalyan participated in the official opening ceremony of the enterprise, the press service of the ministry reported.
The company, according to the source, was built by the "VABA" company in cooperation with the Italian company CARMAC S.R.L within the framework of the program for the full coverage of the country with anti-hail protection nets. This is an innovative enterprise not only in Armenia, but in the whole region. Corresponding to all European standards, it is built exclusively on Italian equipment.
Welcoming the initiative, Artak Kamalyan noted that the ministry encourages the introduction of innovative technologies in the agricultural sector, and from this point of view, in the shortest time, the constructed enterprise will protect the crop from natural disasters.
