Central banks of EAEC member states intend to expand cooperation

ArmInfo. . The central  banks of the EAEC member countries intend to expand and deepen  cooperation. This was announced during the meeting with the Prime  Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the heads of  the National Banks of the member countries of the EAEC, who arrived  in Armenia to participate in a number of events timed to the 25th  anniversary of the introduction of the Armenian dram.

According to the press service of the government, during the meeting  the heads of central banks presented further steps aimed at expanding  cooperation, which, within the framework of integration cooperation,  will help develop capital markets and deepen trade and economic ties  between countries. At the same time, the sides exchanged views on the  possibilities of mutual settlements in national currencies within the  framework of the EAEC.

The Prime Minister noted that despite the "velvet revolution" held in  Armenia, the drama continued to maintain its stability, which from  the point of view of economic development is an important factor.   N.Pashinyan expressed hope that the heads of financial institutions  will continue effective and constructive discussions with a view to  developing cooperation.
