ArmInfo. Hanergy Chinese state company is interested in the project on the construction of enterprise for the production of solar batteries in Armenia. Representatives of the company informed Minister of Economic Development and Investments Artsvik Minasyan about this.
According to the press service of the Ministry, the minister welcomed the initiative of the Chinese company that will allow developing the sector of renewable energy. He presented guests with those benefits that the state provides investors for the implementation of investment programs. At the same time, Artsvik Minasyan also presented the opportunities that are created to enter new markets. During the meeting, an agreement was reached on cooperation and discussion of issues in a working format.
Earlier, Hanergy company patented a new technology, which is characterized by huge indicators of the conversion of solar energy into motion. This technology can be successfully used in unmanned aerial vehicles and in the construction of solar panels in residential buildings. Another area of its application are vehicles and digital devices. The new technology created a single-segment solar module GaAs, double- glazed solar modules CIGS and solar modules CIGS on a flexible substrate. All of them have a record solar energy conversion efficiency of 25.1%, 18.72% and 17.88% respectively. The scope of the new technology is unmanned aerial vehicles that operate on solar energy. In addition, they are panels on the roofs of houses, as well as new vehicles and various types of electronics.
