ArmInfo.In Armenia, the Central Bank and banks will work from 21- 22 September to ensure uninterrupted servicing of accounts of party and bloc funds that delegate candidates for mayors of Yerevan. As ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia, on September 21 and 22 the working schedule of the Central Bank and banks is from 9:00 to 17:00. And on September 23 early elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan will be held.
According to the source, citizens will also be serviced by banks on 21 and 22 September for transactions related to cash and non-cash payments.
Note that September 21 in Armenia is not a working day in connection with the celebration of Independence Day.
To recall, after the resignation of Taron Margaryan, who headed the capital for 7 years, Yerevan has not had a mayor for a month. The government intends to dissolve the functioning Council of Elders of Yerevan and hold early elections to the city council on September 23. Candidates nominated by the CEC for the post of mayor of Yerevan are: Naira Zohrabyan from Prosperous Armenia Party; from the "Yerevan public" bloc - Anahit Tarkhanyan; from the "Yerevanians" bloc - Ararat Zurabyan; from the party "Yerkir Tsirani" - Zaruhi Postanjyan; from the Heritage Party ("Zharangutiun") - Armen Martirosyan; from the party "Democratic Way" - Manuel Gasparyan; from the block "My step" - Hayk Marutyan; from the "Luys" block - Artak Zeynalyan; from the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" party -Mikayel Manukyan; from the party "Liberal-Democratic Union of Armenia" - Gevorg Sandalyan; from the "Hayk" party - Gevorg Hovsepyan; from the "Reformists" party - Artak Avetyan; from the party "Orinats Yerkir" - Mher Shahgeldyan.
