General Director of Ameria bank Artak Anesyan was elected as new  Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia

ArmInfo.Chairman of the Directorate - General Director of Ameriabank Artak Anesyan was elected Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia. As the press  service of the UAB told ArmInfo, the new chairman of the Union of  Banks of Armenia assumed this position on October 1 of this year,  after being elected at a meeting of the UAB Council.

Prior to this, from September 2017, this position was held by the  Chief Executive Officer of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Hakob  Andreasyan.

It should be noted that last year's decision of the SBA Council  approved a new rotational procedure, according to which henceforth  the banking sector-oriented public organization will take turns, in  alphabetical order of commercial banks, for 1 year to be chaired by  the chairmen of each of the 17 commercial banks. The first was Hakob  Andreasyan - Chief Executive Officer of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank,  taking the position of the Chairman of the SBA from September 19,  2017. Next Ameriabank in the new rotation list of the UBA for the  next 3 years is "AiDi Bank" (IDBank is the former Anelik Bank),  ARARATBANK and Ardshinbank.
