ArmInfo. The Canadian company Atlas Pharmaceuticals is investing $ 1.2 million in the creation of a new company in the production of food additives in Armenia. The press service of "Business Armenia" Foundation reports, with the assistance of which investments will be made. The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on October 9 by the director of the Canadian company Giro Jebenyan and the head of the international commerce group of Business Armenia Foundation Narek Alexanyan.
The document provides that Atlas Pharmaceutical "will produce food additives in Armenia, as well as build a Clinical research. It is planned that the investment program will start from the beginning of 2019, about 30 jobs will be created. Specialists of the company are already studying several production areas, including in the areas in which production will be created.
"Our team conducts daily work and we are pleased that agreements with businessmen are gradually turning into documents and investments. Specifically, these investments are related to the recent visit of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan to Canada," said Executive Director of the Business Armenia Foundation Armen Avakian.
"According to the results of clinical studies, tested herbal medicines, medicines based on natural raw materials will be supplied both to the local market and exported to the EEU countries," said Giro Jebenyan, director of Atlas Pharmaceutical.
