ArmInfo.. Information on various discounts offered by the Visa payment system will now be available on the official website of Converse Bank. As the Bank press  service told ArmInfo, the service was introduced in the framework of  cooperation with the Visa payment system.

Thus, Converse Bank will provide an opportunity to get acquainted  with the comprehensive, most up-to- date information about discount  promotions held in different countries of the world for Visa  cardholders, including local discount offers.

Information on discounts offered by the Visa system will be posted on  two online platforms - the Converse Bank website and its Facebook  page, synchronized with the information published by the Visa system.  Due to this, Converse Bank clients will be able to immediately get  acquainted with new offers. The search function also operates by  entering preferred criteria (region, type of card, type of service,  etc.).

According to the "Armenian banks in the card business" analytical  review No. 17, prepared by ArmInfo IC, Converse Bank, both in the  total number of active cards and in the number of Visa and MasterCard  are in the TOP-5. By April 1, 2018, the bank increased the total  number of active cards by 31.1% - to 206.4 thousand. In the total  number of active bank cards, Visa accounts for 27.8% (57.3 thousand  cards with a y- o-y growth of 21.3%). Converse Bank increased the  volume of plastic transactions in 2017 by 59.3% per annum to 320.7  billion drams, holding the 1st position by this indicator. As of  April 1, 2018, the Bank has 119 ATMs and 927 own POS-terminals.  Converse Bank along with local ArCa cards issues and serves also Visa  and MasterCard.

To recall, Converse Bank has been operating in the Armenian market  since September 1996.
