However, T. Khachatryan assured that the expected shocks in the long term will generally lead to a rectification of the structure of the economy. To note, according to the updated IMF forecast, GDP growth in Armenia in 2018 will be 6%, with a slowdown in 2019 to 4.8%. The World Bank improved the forecast for GDP growth in Armenia for 2018 from the previous 4.1% to the current 5.3% with a slowdown in 2019 to 4.3%. The Central Bank of Armenia raised the range of the forecast for GDP growth for 2018 - from 4.6-6.5% to 5.6-6.9%, more modestly revising towards the acceleration the expected growth threshold for 2019 - 4.6-6.4 % In the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2019, GDP growth is 4.9%, against 4.5% of the state budget for 2018.
