ArmInfo. Sugar imports to Armenia declined in the first half of 2018. by 43.6% per annum (against a growth of 9.4% a year earlier), amounting to 36.7 thousand tons. It is noteworthy that in the structure of imports, the proportion of countries from where sugar is imported to Armenia has seriously changed. For the first time, Ukraine has become the sugar market for Armenia, whose share was 30.2%. After them, with a significant margin followed by Russia (11.2%), Belarus (1.7%), as well as Italy, the United Arab Emirates, France, Spain, Lebanon, Australia, Hungary and Austria.
