ArmInfo.Exports of agricultural products from Armenia in 2018 increased by $ 32 million. On December 3 at the time of the election campaign, Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, head of My Step bloc Nikol Pashinyan stated in Vedi city.

He noted that one of the main tasks of the government is to increase  imports every year. "I believe that the agricultural revolution  should also occur in the stern of the political revolution in our  country. We are carrying out a number of reforms to provide  convenient loans in agriculture. But we have a number of problems;  unfortunately, the amount of our harvest depends on a number of  objective subjective circumstances, including weather conditions and  the impact of pests. Regarding irrigation water, I want to note that  we recently revealed a large amount of abuse in this area. We intend  to solve this problem next year Problemu ", Pashinyan stressed. The  Acting Prime Minister noted that another major problem is hail, which  often destroys the entire crop, and his problem should be solved.

The Acting Prime Minister also said that there is no water shortage  in Armenia, the problem lies in its inefficient use. "Every year, 7  billion cubic meters of water is collected in our country. In order  to double our irrigated areas, we need 1 or 1.5 billion cubic meters  of water. Therefore, one of our strategic goals is to build new  reservoirs and establish a well-functioning irrigation system. We  have there is 80% water loss, most cases are related to abuses, which  have now become known, ", Pashinyan stressed.  The Acting Prime  Minister also noted that he appreciates the work of companies that  export agricultural products from Armenia. "We will be as powerful as  we are able to contribute to these companies, as they perform a very  important task. When the export of our goods grows, an additional  amount of money comes from our rural workers", the Acting Prime  Minister emphasized.  The Acting Prime Minister also noted that one  more strategic task for the government is to protect nature.  "I want  to note that we raised the salary by 40%, and in some cases, 100% of  the staff of reserves and specially protected areas, so that people  are committed to their work and do everything possible to protect  forests and reserves. In general, the number one task in our republic  is to increase efficiency in all areas, "- he said.  Pashinyan said  that another task of the government is to solve the problem of  garbage, and then build a plant for processing garbage.
