Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent development of relations with the Czech Republic, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this On December 14, accepting the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Armenia, Petr Mikyska, and the executive director of the "People in need" public organization Simon Panek.
As reported by the Press Service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Acting Prime Minister stressed that Yerevan is interested in further deepening and expanding economic cooperation with Prague. Nikol Pashinyan, in particular, touched on the steps and programs of the RA government to improve the business environment, stressing that the executive body of Armenia guarantees the security of each investment program.
Petr Mikyska, congratulating Nikol Pashinyan on the successful holding of early parliamentary elections, wished him success in his future activities. Simon Panek presented the activities and programs of People in need public organization to Nikol Pashinyan. He noted, in particular, that a program of developing adventure tourism is being implemented in the Syunik region of Armenia, and the construction of a wool processing plant is under way in Amasia. 500 thousand euros are invested in the implementation of each program. The plant in Amasia will be commissioned in the spring of 2019. In Syunik region, 250 km of walking trails will be repaired. Simon Panek noted that People in need is also implementing programs for the development of rural business. The Acting Prime Minister welcomed the programs presented and announced the assistance of the government in their implementation.
