According to the source, rail freight transportation during the reporting period increased by 11.1% to 2,665.2 thousand tons. 1,587.2 thousand tons of natural gas was delivered via the trunk pipeline, which is 2.4% more than the same period last year. At the same time, air transportation decreased by 19.4% - to 16.6 thousand tons. Freight turnover increased by 5.7% - to 3,970.2 million tons/km.
Passenger traffic during the reporting period decreased by 6.9% - to 170 199.5 thousand people, which by and large was due to a decrease in road transport by 9.4% - to 145 237.5 thousand people. At the same time, passenger transportation by electric transport increased by 10.9%- up to 21 972.1 thousand people, railway - by 5.9% to 331.7 thousand people, air - by 12.1% to 2 632.2 thousand people. Passenger traffic decreased by 5.6% to 2,300.6 million passenger/km.
