ArmInfo. Precious metals in Armenia this week fell by 1%, after a decline of 0.2% a week earlier. Acceleration of the downward pace is due to the reversal of the trend of gold and palladium from growth to decline, and the continuing decline in the cost of silver and platinum.
As reported to ArmInfo by agency of the State Treasury of Precious Metals and Precious Stones" Agency of the Ministry of Finance, from January 28 to February 3, 2019, the following selling prices for precious metals were set: gram of gold (dimensional bars) - 20037.19 drams (change of weekly dynamics from 0.03 % growth to 0.5% decline), silver - 238.99 drams (accelerated weekly decline from 0.9% to 1.5%), platinum - 12,440.06 drams (slowdown of weekly decline from 2.5 % to 0.7%), and palladium - 20892.11 drams (change of weekly dynamics from a 2.5% increase to a 1.2% decline).
According to international exchanges, February 1, 2019. at 17:41 Moscow time the spot price of troy ounces of gold was $ 1,323 (daily growth of 0.12%), silver - $ 16.12 (daily growth of 0.44%), platinum - $ 833 (daily growth of 0.24%) and palladium - $ 1,378 (daily growth of 0.29%).
