ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia reports that the process of providing cash registers of a new generation at a price of 60 thousand drams proceeds smoothly and without delays.
Earlier in the media it was reported that, despite the order of the head of the SRC, business entities face a lot of problems as when receiving new cash registers. Some are denied, ostensibly, due to the lack of a cash registers in the SNCO for the implementation of these devices, while others - in recalculation referring to the lack of funds in the state treasury.
As reported by the press service of the tax and customs department, as of February 13, 1,500 business entities that had previously received cash registers at a price of 160 thousand drams received recalculations. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia approved another thousand applications for the purchase of new cash registers.
In order to avoid misunderstandings, the SRC once again reminds that individual entrepreneurs (PIs), organizations and notaries have the right to receive cash registers, for which the use of new devices has become a legislative imperative since January 1, 2019, family entrepreneurs and self-employed persons considered as such from the beginning of this year, as well as the individual entrepreneurs, who during the current year will receive a certificate of exemption from taxes within the framework of the law "On tax privileges for self-employed persons".
In addition, it is noted that new cash registers at a reduced price will also be able to be purchased by organizations that will be considered as payers of the turnover tax, individual entrepreneurs and notaries as of January 1, 2019, as well as those who are solely payers of the license tax.
Earlier, ArmInfo, referring to the SRC, reported that the Government will subsidize the difference between the cost of new cash registers, equal to 158 thousand drams and its selling price of 60 thousand drams, sending about $ 5 million for these purposes.
