The Prime Minister of  Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this at a press conference on March 19,  answering the question of how he assesses the possibilities of  creating a free economic zone in the Shirak region and to what extent  it can contribute to the economic revolution.

"There is a proposal that is quite euphonic, but it is necessary to  understand whether it will give any result or not, discussions are  underway on this issue. And as far as I know, the authors of the  proposal should also be involved in upcoming discussions on this  topic. Decisions in this matter should be made on the basis of facts,  and not on the basis of subjective preferences. Discussion of the  facts should lead to a particular decision, "Pashinyan stressed.

The pPime Minister also noted that at the moment he does not own all  the facts, and refrained from assessing the possibilities of this  proposal. He also noted that the record on his Facebook page that  Gyumri had made investments, which amounted to $ 2 million, aimed at  the production of jeans found a wide response in society.
