ArmInfo. At the end of 2019, the business segment in Armenia will be informed in advance about scheduled inspections by inspection bodies in 2020. Head of the Office of Coordination of Inspection Bodies' Activities Hayk Ayvazyan said this at a press conference on March 27. At the same time, he did not rule out that a business containing a low level of risk would not be subject to inspections by supervisory authorities at all.
In general, the official noted that in 2019 the activities of the inspection bodies of Armenia will cover a wide range of work, which will mainly concern the development of legislation, the introduction of an electronic management system that will allow monitoring and improving the efficiency of the work of inspection bodies. Legislative acts aimed at unifying the management system of inspection bodies will be developed.
According to Ayvazyan, the effectiveness of the work of supervisory authorities is planned to be increased in three segments: state, consumer and business. <At the moment, I can say that all the tools for evaluating the effectiveness have been implemented. The activities of the inspection bodies of Armenia became transparent. We have involved public and scientific organizations in the management process. And in general, the status of inspection bodies has changed, "he stressed.
In particular, Ayvazyan noted the importance of introducing an electronic control system for inspection bodies not as an opportunity to reduce costs, but as a way to increase efficiency. "The exchange of information between government agencies will reduce the administrative costs for economic entities, since there will be no need to provide the same information to one or another agency. As a result, risks will be better assessed, which will lead to lower inspections. However, I must note that this is a long process, "he concluded.
