Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a group of Armenian investors from the diaspora headed by Chairman of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia Gagik Makaryan.According to the press service of the RA government, Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of meeting with investors and improvingbusiness environment, discussing various investment projects. The Prime Minister noted that they provide a good opportunity for members of the government to listen to the issues raised by entrepreneurs, problems and suggestions.
Gagik Makaryan informed that in the near future new groups of investors, inspired by the events taking place in Armenia, will come to Armenia, who in the conditions of improving the business environment are interested in implementing investment programs in various spheres of our country. According to him, Armenia's positions among investors are strengthening, and this is a good opportunity to attract new investments.Then investors presented investment projects in the fields of energy, construction and the latest technologies to the Prime Minister.
A discussion of the submitted projects took place.Nikol Pashinyan noted that the Government of Armenia welcomes the initiatives of entrepreneurs and is ready to assist in the implementation of investment programs within the framework of its toolkit. The Prime Minister also offered, in particular, to get acquainted with the government-presented investment packages in the energy sector and, if possible, to take part in their competitions. Investors noted that they welcome the policy of the government headed by Nikol Pashinyan and steps to improve the business environment, expressing confidence that they will not only help attract foreign investors, but also consolidate the potential of Armenian businessmen in the diaspora in their homeland.
