ArmInfo.The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) and Smart Africa Center (Rwanda) have signed a memorandum of cooperation in high technology, engineering and education.
According to the press service of the EIF, the memorandum was signed by Amalia Eghoyan, director for business development of the Incubator Enterprise Foundation, which was on a working visit in Rwanda as part of a delegation headed by Foreign Minister Zorab Mnatsakanyan.
The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation, in particular the organization and implementation of joint activities in the field of IT, telecommunications, high technologies and innovative developments.
"We attach particular importance to cooperation with the Smart Africa center, since it involves the launch of joint research and innovation projects, partnership in high technology and engineering, strengthening ties between universities and business, as well as launching Gyumri and Vanadzor Technology Centers", Amaliya Eghoyan said.
According to the source, the Armenian delegation during the visit visited the Museum of the Genocide in Rwanda and took part in events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the genocide.
To note, the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) was founded in 2002 within the framework of the World Bank's Enterprise Incubator program to promote the development of information and telecommunication technologies in Armenia and thereby create a favorable environment for innovative development, technology improvement and business expansion.
