Armenian State Revenues  Committee claims a lack of new generation of cash registers: the agency needs 10-11 thousand new cash registers

Due to the lack of a new generation of cash registers (CAC), they will be provided in order of priority to taxpayers who are only registered and do not have a CAC at all.  Responding to a question from ArmInfo, David Ananyan, Chairman of the CGD, said this on May 10.According to the head of the CGD, currently the department received 9 thousand applications for new CCAs, 3 thousand of which are satisfied, but the applicants are in no hurry to pick them up. In the meantime, the number of new CCAs is strictly limited - about 700-800. In this regard, the applications of thoseeconomic entities that were satisfied, but they already have the CAC of the old generation, will be recalled.

At the same time, as the head of the CGD, the market for the implementation of new CRs has been fully liberalized. According to Anyanan, anyone who wants to import devices can submit an application to the SRC, receive a certificate of compliance with the technical requirements established by a government decision. "I officially declare that today we need 10-11 thousand CRs of the new generation.  We have so far refrained from acquiring and are announcing an open tender for the purchase of these CRs," the chief tax officer said.  March 29, after the meeting of the Cabinet.David Ananyan stated that the Government of Armenia removes all sorts of restrictions from the market of imports, sales and maintenance of cash registers (CRs) of the new generation, to which almost all trade and service tax agents of the country should go. Thus, according to the government's decision, if previously the entire process was carried out through the CRImplementation Office specially created by the past government, today the executive branch decided to limit the powers of this structure.

The function of technical control over imported CRs from the point of view of assessing their compliance with the established technical parameters will also be maintained for the SNCO.Ananyan refrained from forecasting the possible appreciation of the CR.

"In any case, market liberalization means that the state will not interfere in the pricing process in any way.  One thing is clear - an increase in the number of players in the market will lead to the establishment of competitive prices," he said.Earlier, ArmInfo reported on the decision of the head of the CGD to provide the CAC with a new generation at a low state-subsidized price (instead of 160 thousand drams for 60 thousand drams - Red,) to those subjects for whom, by law, such cash registers became mandatory from January 1 of this year.

At the same time, the possibility of paying this amount in installments for two years was retained. This opportunity, in fact, could be used by about 25 thousand small and medium-sized subjects.  And in order to preserve an objective and equal approach, the SRC was ready to return the funds to those economic entities who already acquired the SRC at a high cost.
