"I agree with the assessments of the work of the EEU that have been  voiced. Indeed, there is a lot to work on," Putin said, Informburo.kz  reports. According to him, today the EAEU is an effective integration  association. Within the framework of the union, a common market has  been formed for more than 180 million consumers, the movement of  goods, capital and labor has been ensured. "Trade with foreign  countries is growing faster than internal. In this, I see a positive  effect - unification does not prevent countries from working," the  president said.

As Vladimir Putin noted, the heads of the member states of the Union  took the initiative of vesting the first president of Kazakhstan,  Nursultan Nazarbayev, with the title of honorary chairman of the  Supreme Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union. "I am very  pleased that all our colleagues supported.  This makes sense. It's a  big point. Not only because Nursultan Nazarbayev is the author of  this idea and contributed to the implementation of the plan itself,  but also because he is really passionate about this plan, it works  and Now a lot can be done to us for the formation and strengthening  of our union. As Putin noted, he understood the criticism about the preferential  conditions for countries that are not members of the Union. "But all  these streams will line up in the right direction. We support  integration of more and more new opportunities. I note the  preparation of an agreement that will allow for the calculation of  pensions to take into account experience in the entire union. For a  person it will not matter where worked, "he said. As the head of the  Russian Federation noted, currently the EDB is financing more than 80  projects.

In addition, as Putin noted, the priority direction of the EAEU is  the development of relations with neighboring countries. At the same  time, the EAEU stands for the development of relations of the union  with the dynamic economies of the Asian and Pacific regions. The  strategic partner of the Union is China.  The circle of partners is  expanding. "Today we will make a decision on signing a treaty on a  free trade zone with Serbia. The ratification of the treaty with Iran  is coming to an end, and we look forward to working with India and  Israel," President Putin said.

As the Russian president stressed, the Eurasian Commission is  preparing an agreement that will make it possible to take into  account the experience for the entire period of labor activity in the  territory of all the Union states when calculating pensions. "I think  for a particular citizen, a person who has worked all his life, this  is very important. For us and for this person, it will not matter  where he worked." The main thing is to have relevant documents  confirming this experience. The entry into force of this document  will make it possible to more fully ensure the rights and interests  of citizens of our states, "Vladimir Putin said, inviting  participants of the EEEC to take part in the Russia-Africa forum,  which will be held on October 24 in the Russian Federation.
