According to the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, flights on the Batumi-Yerevan-Batumi route will be operated every day, 7 days a week from July 10, 2019 until the end of the summer season. At the same time, the Georgian airline has increased the frequency of flights Tbilisi-Yerevan. From now on, ''Georgian Airways'' adds 7 frequencies (every day) to this route and will perform regular flights 14 times a week until the end of the summer navigation season. Accordingly, the airline will offer passengers two flights a day from Tbilisi to Yerevan. The airline will also operate additional flights from Tbilisi to Yerevan once a week from July 8 to August 30. Flights will be performed on Boeing B737, Embraer ERJ190 and CRJ200 type aircraft. The Civil Aviation Agency issued a permit to the airline on July 5, 2019.
To note, direct flights between Russia and Georgia have officially ceased from today. By decision of Russia, 6 Russian and 2 Georgian airlines stop direct flights between the countries.
