ArmInfo. Two Armenian companies were provided tax and customs benefits. The decision was made on July 11 at a meeting of the Government of Armenia.
In particular, as noted in the certificate-substantiation of the draft decision, the Cabinet satisfied the application of the "A&M RARE" company for exemption from customs duties when importing technological equipment, components, raw materials, materials in the framework of the investment program carried out in the priority direction. The company imported equipment for bottling sweet carbonated and mineral water. However, it became necessary to import additional quantities of goods. As part of this investment program, 14 new jobs have already been opened, and 1.12 billion drams have been invested.
Another solution for the "MOEFF GROUP" company extended the period of payment of VAT for three years, calculated by customs and tax authorities. As part of its investment program, the company plans to engage in production of counterfeit goods from AISI 304 stainless metal in Armavir, Armenia. Within the framework of the presented investment program, the company intends to make a total investment of around 14.7 billion drams. As a result of the implementation of the investment program, the company will create 100 new jobs with average salary of 130,000 drams.
