ArmInfo. The offices of one of the world-renowned consulting and auditing companies EY (formerly Ernst & Young) working in different cities around the world, as well as representatives of local and international business circles, the Government of Armenia, customers, partners and friends of the company gathered July 12 in Yerevan for the annual traditional event Apricot Party. This time the evening was held in the restaurant "Charles Terrace" of the Apricot Hotel Yerevan. The opening address was delivered to the guests by the Senior Advisor to the EY Managing Partner for the CIS countries and the head of the EY Assessment and Business Modeling Group in the CIS countries of the EY Company Akop Sargsyan. , He said.
In an interview with ArmInfo correspondent, Hakob Sargsyan stressed that last year EY in Armenia directed efforts to integrate knowledge and experience within the company's network in the CIS. Last year, a meeting was held between EY's managing partner for Central, Eastern, Southeastern Europe and Central Asia, Yacek Kedzior, and Armenian President Armen Sargsyan, during which the parties discussed the example of Israel.
The representative of EY stressed that today there are enough qualified staff in Armenia to create an effective team capable of solving practically any business problem. "This year we have strengthened the team and expertise by integrating the knowledge and experience of our colleagues from other countries. This allows us to expand the range of services, ensure their high quality and keep up with innovations, "said Sargsyan. In general, after the velvet revolution, according to Sargsyan, there is hope that Armenia will go in the direction of ensuring a higher level of transparency, building a more efficient economy and a fair society. "And in all these cases, without an international team of professionals and world-class expertise, it will not be easy to understand. Therefore, I am almost certain: today's realities give hope that in the near future, before important decisions are made, every step will be carefully thought out, and the consequences of these decisions will receive a comprehensive assessment in advance. And this will be done by world-class high-class specialists, not necessarily only Armenians, because the more international friends we have, the stronger our positions in all respects, including in economics, politics, "he said. "Over 10 years, our office has grown from eight to 75 employees, not counting about 20 employees who are on long trips at company offices around the world," said EY managing partner for Armenia Eric Hayrapetyan.
We note that EY is a global leader in auditing, taxation, transaction support and consulting. EY has 728 offices in 150 countries.
