In h1 of 2019, Armenian banks sent about $ 62 million tax to the  state treasury

ArmInfo.In the h1 of 2019, the banking system of Armenia sent 29.4 billion drams or about $ 62 million tax to the state treasury, which is 6.5% higher than the  indicator a year ago. Of this amount, over 95.2% or 28 billion drams  were paid on direct taxes (incl. profit tax and income tax), with an  YOYgrowth of 16.2%.

The top five taxpayer banks are Ameriabank, ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank, Armbusinessbank, INECOBANK and Ardshinbank, which sent a total  of 16.4 billion drams to the State Treasury in the h1 of 2019 (an YOY  growth of 7.2%), of which 15.8 billion drams each direct taxes (YOY  growth of 12.9%).  According to the RA State Revenue Committee, in  the first hundred largest taxpayers of Armenia, according to the  results of the h1 of 2019, 11 out of 17 existing banks were, compared  to 13 a year ago. In the general list of 1000 large taxpayers of  Armenia, in the portion of 17 banks accounted for 5.7%.

The leader among banks in the list of large taxpayers in terms of  taxes paid: Ameriabank, which took 11th place (versus the 19th year  earlier), sending 5.1 billion drams to the state budget, of which 4.9  billion drams are direct taxes (incl. profit tax and income tax). It  is followed by: ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank - 17th place (versus 22nd  year earlier) - 3.8 billion drams (incl. 2 billion for profit tax);  Armbusinessbank - 28th place (against the 36th a year earlier) - 2.8  billion (including direct taxes - 2.5 billion); INECOBANK - 34th  place (against the 27th a year earlier) - 2.4 billion (including  direct taxes - 2.3 billion). And Ardshinbank closes the top five -  41st place (versus 31st a year earlier), which paid 2.1 billion  drams, of which 2 billion - for direct taxes.

Converse Bank was also included in the first hundred large taxpayers  - 43rd place, having paid taxes for 2 billion drams, of which 1.1  billion - for income tax; Armswissbank - 56th place - 1.6 billion, of  which 1.4 billion - on income tax; Armeconombank - 57th place - 1.6  billion, of which 1.5 billion - in direct taxes; Unibank - 75th place  - 1.4 billion drams, of which 1.2 billion drams - in direct taxes;  ARARATBANK - 77th place - 1.3 billion, of which 1.2 billion drams -  in direct taxes; HSBC Bank Armenia - 78th place - 1.3 billion, incl.  874.5 million for direct taxes.

Evocabank is in the second hundred of large taxpayers of Armenia -  113th place (805 million, of which 294 million - on income tax);  IDBank - 119th place (769.7 million, of which 712.8 million - in  direct taxes); VTB Bank (Armenia) - 120th place (767.4 million, of  which 49.6 million - for income tax); Byblos Bank Armenia - 134th  place (649.1 million drams, including 339.5 million drams - for  direct taxes), and Mellat Bank - 145th place (614.7 million, of which  560.8 million - for direct taxes).  Artsakhbank also entered the list  of 1000 large taxpayers of Armenia - 740th place (111 million,  including 106.6 million for direct taxes).  According to the  Financial Rating of the Banks of Armenia, prepared by ArmInfo, the  total accumulated profit of the banking system of Armenia in the h1  of 2019 amounted to 190.7 billion drams, an increase of 11.4% in YOYl  terms. The five leaders in terms of accumulated profit are Ameriabank  - 38.6 billion drams, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank - 23.7 billion drams,  HSBC Bank Armenia - 22.1 billion drams, INECOBANK - 21.8 billion  drams, Converse Bank - 17.7 billion drams. The h1 of 2019, the  banking system completed with a net profit of 48.1 billion drams (YOY  growth of 7.6%), after paying taxes with which the net profit  amounted to 38.5 billion drams with YOY growth of 6.2%. the Q2 of  this year alone, net profit of the banking system increased by 39%,  amounting to 22.4 billion drams.
