ArmInfo.On September 17, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian received international experts and venture investors - Luigi Amati, President of Business Angels Europe, CEO of META venture company, founder of the Business Angel Network of Italy, and Brigitt Baumann, Honorary Chair of the European Business Angels Network.
It should be noted the international experts arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the Business Angel Network of Armenia (BANA) to take part in the IT conference for business leaders and investors, as well as to provide consulting on matters relating to attraction of investments, formation of ecosystems of startups, etc.Armen Sargsyan welcomed their visit and their willingness to be useful in sharing experience and knowledge with Armenian companies and start-up teams.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for the development of information and high technologies in Armenia, the formation and establishment of eco-startups.
To note, the largest venture capital company META invested about 40 million euros in startup teams in various countries. Brigitt Baumann in 2015 recognized as the best European investor. She is the founder of Go Beyond Early Stage Investing, an investment company operating in France, the UK, and Switzerland.
Baumann also advises businesses and government representatives from various countries. Association of Business Investors Business Angel Network of Armenia (BANA), in addition to providing financial resources to start-up teams and start-up entrepreneurs, teaches them to develop business strategies and attract potential customers.
