ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in the framework of cooperation with the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) takes part in the EFSE MEETING 2019forum being held in Belgrade.
According to the bank's press service, the subject of discussion, which was attended by about 300 representatives of international financial institutions and investors, was the development prospects of micro and small enterprises.
During the forum, Arsen Melkonyan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, spoke about the prospects for the development of SMEs in Armenia and the non-financial services of the bank aimed at this. "The bank, in addition to financial services for SMEs, has been conducting free seminars for 5 years, which currently cover 13 different topics. Thus, the bank helps SME entrepreneurs improve their business management, stimulate sales, increase the efficiency of marketing operations and, in general, to form a new management culture. We highly value the trust of our partners and are proud of all their achievements, "he said.
According to the source, the cooperation of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and EFSE was launched in 2013 with the aim of promoting the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
To recall, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank CJSC has been operating in Armenia since 1995. The shareholders of the bank as of July 1, 2019 are: SJSC Sacam International (a member of the Credit Agricole S.A group) - 5% and ACBA Federation CJSC - 95%.
