ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Silicon Valley in San Jose met with several representatives of information technology companies and discussed the prospects for cooperation.
In particular, according to the press service of the Prime Minister, the visit of the head of the Armenian government to Silicon Valley started with a meeting with venture capitalists - founders of Draper University Tim and Bill Draper. At the meeting, the prospects of cooperation in the field of technology were discussed. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the university and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia. As part of the document, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint educational programs in the field of IT in the direction of training and retraining of specialists.
Nikol Pashinyan also met with Jensen Huang, executive director of NVidia, a company specializing in the development of graphic processors and systems-on-a-chip (SoC). The prospects for interaction were discussed.
