ArmInfo. Ardshinbank has received a Trade Finance AWARD 2018 in honor of excellent partnership by German Commerzbank.
According to the press service of the bank Ardshinbank is a leading bank in terms of foreign trade finance, strongly contributing Armenia's exporters and importers.
To recall, in May 2018 Ardshinbank received a loan of $ 10 million from the German Commerzbank, aimed at financing export-import operations of the bank's corporate clients. The guarantee for covering the transaction under the Trade Finance Program was provided by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Prior to this, in March 2018 Ardshinbank joined the Trade Investment Support Program of the International Investment Bank (IIB) to provide financing for the import of high- tech equipment for small hydropower plants from the Czech Republic and Bulgaria to Armenia.
According to the Financial Rating of the Banks of Armenia as of June 30, 2019, prepared by ArmInfo IC, Ardshinbank's assets amounted to $ 1.4 billion (an increase of 9.4% y / y), and by this indicator the bank holds a position in TOP-3. In the structure of assets, the share of credit investments accounts for 64% or more than $ 920 million, of which $ 577.7 million or 62.8% are corporate loans (3rd position in the market). Ardshinbank completed the first half of 2019 with a net profit of $ 11 million (2nd position in the market), increasing this indicator in annual terms by 46.5%.
To recall, Ardshinbank is one of the leaders in all key financial indicators of the RA banking system. It is the only private entity in Armenia that has issued euro bonds in international capital markets. Ardshinbank has assigned ratings from two international major rating agencies (Moody's and Fitch) equal to the rating of sovereign. The Banker, a publication owned by the Financial Times Group, named Ardshinbank as "Bank of the Year in Armenia for 2018''.
