Suren Papikyan participated in the 19th international exhibition on  electric power industry

From November 1 to November 3, within the framework of a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), Minister of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure of Armenia Surpen Papikyan participated in the 19th  International Electricity Exhibition - IEE, in which companies from  13 countries participated.

Minister Papikyan got acquainted with the latest innovations and  production capacities of electric power products and equipment  presented by local and foreign companies. Opportunities for  cooperation in the supply of products were discussed with  representatives of a number of enterprises.

In particular, during the exhibition, the minister met with the  adviser to the head of the Iranian energy department and the head of  one of the largest energy equipment manufacturing company Mapna.  During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of the  company participating in the construction of alternative energy  stations in Armenia, in particular, wind power stations.

According to the source, as part of a working visit to Iran, Minister  Suren Papikyan met with Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian.

Note that the Iranian energy exhibition was first held in 1991. Since  then, IEE brings together leaders in the energy industry and provides  an opportunity to meet with potential sellers and buyers from around  the world. IEE is considered one of the largest and most important  exhibitions in the Middle East. Tehran Exhibition Center is located  in the north of the city. The total exhibition area of the center is  120,000 square meters. m. More than 20 international exhibitions are  held annually at the Tehran Exhibition Center. The IEE exhibition  covers an area of 50,000 square meters. m in 12 exhibition halls and  2000 square meters. m of open space and gathers over 530 companies  (460 Iranian and 70 foreign) from Germany, China, Italy, Turkey,  Macedonia, Switzerland, Austria, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Spain and  India.
