Synopsis company intends to open a branch in Gyumri

ArmInfo.Armenian President Armen Sargsyan received the head of Synopsis company Chi-Fun Chan, the head of Synopsis Armenia Yervand Zoryan and the director Hovik  Musayelyan.

According to the press service of the head of state, Chi-Fung Chan,  speaking about the plans of the company, noted that he plans to visit  Gyumri during the visit, where the company intends to establish a  branch. The project has already begun the implementation of  educational programs in the Gyumri branch of the Polytechnic  University.

At the same time, Chi-Fun Chan stated that "Synopsis Armenia" has  made serious progress in recent years, many leading projects have  been developed and this is due to the intention to open a branch in  Gyumri as well.

President Sargsyan, welcoming the intentions of the guests, wished  the company good luck. He noted that Gyumri is really of great  interest, and the place for the implementation of the project was  chosen correctly.  Armen Sargsyan presented the guests another  presidential initiative - the ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) program, aimed  at the development of science and technology. According to him, he  will be glad to see Synopsis company among the major partners of the  program.

Note that Synopsys is a leading company in the design of  semiconductor chips. The branch of the company in Yerevan is the  largest representative office of IT companies in the country.  "Synopsis Armenia" was established in 2004, about 700 people work  there.
