ArmInfo. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Avet Adonts met with the Vice Chairman of China International Development Cooperation Agency Deng Boqing.
As the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reports, the parties discussed issues related to grant programs of gratuitous technical assistance to Armenia from the PRC government. The RA Deputy Foreign Minister noted that these programs are essential in the development and modernization of the capacities of a number of areas in Armenia. According to Adonts, the activity of the Armenian-Chinese friendship school promotes the spread of the Chinese language and culture in Armenia.
Deng Boqing, in turn, presented the activities of the State Agency, noting that in addition to technical assistance programs, the Agency is also responsible for providing soft loans to partner governments.
The parties touched upon possible upcoming programs of technical and economic assistance, exchange of experts, as well as lending opportunities for building infrastructures.
