ArmInfo. The revenue part of the state budget of Armenia in 2019 will be overfulfilled by 101 billion drams. This was announced on December 26 by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia David Ananyan.
According to him, according to the results of the year, the state budget revenues will amount to 1.481 trillion drams. At the same time, as David Ananyan noted, this amount does not include expenses on repayment of debt under the VAT , which are returned to business entities. Out of the planned 42 billion drams, 40.5 billion drams have already been paid to the entities. Taking these funds into account, the revenue of the state treasury will be 1.502 trillion drams.
The head of the SRC also touched upon opposition-exaggerated reports that a significant part of the income is provided through imports of cars. According to him, due to import of vehicles 55 billion drams were received in the state budget this year against 36 billion drams last year. 10 billion drams were added to these funds, which from the last year are returned to the business in the form of VAT. As of January 1, 2018, the state owed 275 billion drams to entrepreneurs, and as of today, this debt has been reduced to 82 billion drams. Thus, there will be no overpayments next year, and there will be no growth in car imports, but, as David Ananyan noted, the agency is not worried.
In turn, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan reminded that as of December 23, the state budget revenues increased by 89 billion drams, of which 56 billion drams were used to pay off VAT debts. "These are the very debts that were considered hopeless, and which we are now repaying," the head of government recalled.
It should be noted that initially it was planned that the state budget revenues of Armenia will make 1 trillion 462.4 billion drams, expenses - 1 trillion 614 billion, deficit - 151.6 billion drams.
