Prime Minister: Armenia`s financial market starts the year 2020  aconfidently 

ArmInfo.The financial market of Armenia starts the year 2020 with the same confidence with which the previous one was completed. This was announced on January  23 by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

He noted that the Central Bank of Armenia acquired $ 5 million in the  interbank currency market. <This is the first purchase by the Central  Bank in 2020>, said N. Pashinyan.

It should be noted that, according to the Central Bank of the  Republic of Armenia, on January 23, $ 5.3 million of transactions  were concluded on the interbank foreign exchange market at a weighted  average rate of 478.95 AMD / $ 1. Compared with the results of the  previous trading day (January 22) the volume of transactions  increased by 12.8%, with a depreciation of 0.04 points.
