In 2021, Starmus International Festival will be held in Armenia for  the first time

ArmInfo.In 2021, the Starmus International Festival will be held in Armenia for the first time. The Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia  Hakob Arshakyan stated this on January 24 from the rostrum of the  parliament.

According to him, the festival will be held at the initiative of the  President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan.  Last year, over 70 thousand  people took part in it, and the world famous American businessman and  billionaire Ilon Mask took the main prize. The Minister expressed  confidence that the upcoming festival will be successful and will  cause increased interest around the world.

Starmus International Festival is dedicated to astronomy, space  exploration, music, art and related sciences such as biology and  chemistry. It was founded by Garik Izraelian, an astronomer at the  Institute of Astrophysics in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The  author and main organizer of the festival is the astrophysicist of  the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands (IAC) and  professor of La Laguna University Garik Israelyan.
