ArmInfo. Armenia and Georgia intend to jointly organize flights to Los Angeles. On February 13, Tatevik Revazyan, chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia, stated this from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to her, negotiations on the organization of direct air traffic Yerevan-Los Angeles are also underway, however, given the low load of the air carrier, it makes sense to organize joint flights with the Georgian side. Tatevik Revazyan emphasized that flights only from Yerevan are unprofitable, as they do not provide proper loading. Meanwhile, in order to reach the level of profitability, it is necessary to carry out 2-3 flights per week. For this reason, negotiations are ongoing with Georgian partners, who, however, are more inclined to operate flights to New York, and the Armenian side insists on heading towards Los Angeles.
