
ArmInfo. Armenia plans to introduce a system of effective valuation and taxation of real estate. This was announced during a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, at which proposals regarding the revision of the tax system of real estate in Armenia were discussed.
According to the press service of the government, the proposals concerned property tax rates (apartments, public, industrial territories, garages, neglected land plots). At the same time, the meeting participants touched upon the methodology for assessing property and territories, and the possible consequences of changes in rates.
It was noted that the purpose of the proposals was to increase the targeting of taxation.
According to the report, Nikol Pashinyan instructed, on the basis of the proposals submitted, to develop an appropriate concept, taking into account the views and comments voiced at the meeting.
